Install Insider Club: add a forum to your Shopify store

Install the app

1. Open the Insider Club listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
2. Shopify asks you to confirm the required access (customers, online store). Approve.
3. You land in the Insider Club interface, inside your Shopify admin. The Free plan is active right away; the 14-day free trial of the Growth plan starts if you choose it.

Add the forum to your theme

The forum appears in your theme through an app block:

1. In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Create a page (for example “Community”) or open an existing page.
3. Click Add section, then choose Insider Club – Forum in the Apps tab.
4. Save.

The forum automatically picks up your theme’s fonts and colors.

Make the forum reachable

Add the page to your main menu (Navigation → Main menu → Add menu item). Customers logged into their Shopify account are already members: no extra sign-up.

Publish the first topic

An empty forum does not invite participation. Before announcing the opening, publish two or three topics yourself: a welcome message, an open question to your customers, an announcement.
